Before reporting my problem I read a bit about 1394Firewire because I didnt know what it was, or does.I noticed an exclamation mark in Device Manager next to my 1394 Host Controller and despite turning 1394 off in my BIOS it keeps coming back.Ive also tried to disable and uninstall this device in Device Manager, with the same result, and when I try to update it I get an error (see screenshots below).

Tho I find it peculiar to see an error in Device Manager when that particular device is deliberately turned off in my BIOS. And before you ask, yes when I turn 1394 On in my BIOS I experience the same issue. Hopefully there someone reading this cry for help and can offer me adequate assistance. If the PC in question is the one in your system specs.it only has support for windows Vista and Windows 7. Texas Instruments 1394 Host Controller Drivers For ItEven though you have windows 10 installed.you dont have any compatible drivers for it from HP. It is only using the generic windows 10 drivers which may or may not work. This might help. For the drivers under windows 7, there is not chipset driver but there is under Vista. HP Pavilion Elite m9480be Desktop PC Software and Drivers HP Customer Support. Boot into Windows and Go to the Device Manager, expand IEEE 1394 and right click the LSI device and choose Update Driver. Choose the 1394 OHCI compliant Host Controller instead of the LSI choose Nex t. Western Digital 2TB Stoiage Internet Speed: 1Gb Browser: Brave, Chrome,Edge Antivirus: Windows Security. Do you have any firewire ports on that PC I honestly dont know.
